Local Residents Preferred (No Relo) Requirements * BS degree in communication, marketing, sales or related field * 5-7 years proven experience with developing and implementing marketing strategies with 2-3 years focused on business-to-business marketing * Strong writing and editing skills (team writing) * Demonstrated creative abilities...risk-taking initiative orientation * Planning and organizational skills to execute strategies in a time-based and quality manner * Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines * Demonstrated planning and execution skills that support business development strategies with proven results * Ability to conduct market research and provide competitive analysis * Experience with new media tactics and marketing integration is critical * Ability to conceptualize, write, and direct editorial content and creative development of marketing and sales support tools * Media relations including direct relationships with the Indianapolis media a plus. Must be able to pitch story ideas, directly respond to media requests and to use a data-tracking system (we use Vocus) to record contacts, media results and categories of coverage * Strong work ethic, team player and willing to go the extra mile to meet critical deadlines * Flexible, adaptable, embraces change * Works with all levels at all tasks. Individual must be able to work closely with all marketing team members and other departments. Commitment to customer service is critical.
