Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will assume a primary role in personal account development that will enable West's Transportation Solutions to meet and exceed revenue goals, and to cover personal expense. Job Duties: Manage personal account development including appointment scheduling, personal calls, time and territory management, and follow up. Review market analysis to determine customer s needs, volume potential, pricing needed and sales campaigns. Represent the company at traffic club meetings, trade show associations, and similar events to promote company if deemed appropriate by prior consultation with VP. Coordinate new account set up with VP including through review of account, profile, and specific service requirements. Submit weekly sales reports to management that outlines contacts made and status of account and potential revenue to be gained. Participate in monthly company meetings by presenting monthly sales recap to management and others as necessary. Identify potential business opportunities for our affiliated companies. Other duties to be assigned on an as needed basis. Job Requirements: Minimum 2 years Truckload Sales within the Baltimore Market.
