Job Description:
Premier Consumer Goods leader located in northern New Jersey seeks an exceptional individual to join their Internal Audit team. You will assist the Manager of Internal Audit in the timely completion of the fiscal Audit plan submitted annually to the Audit Committee. You will also ensure that all direct reports are trained and appropriately utilized to support the completion of the Audit Plan. Specific Responsibilities:: Plan, supervise or complete audits and special projects as assigned.: Supervise and train staff to ensure maximum productivity.: Perform work relative to new business ventures : Write, review, and update Company policies and procedures.: Through written or verbal communication, provide Management with timely status reports to facilitate resource reallocation as required.: Assist external auditors with year-end work and in complying with industry regulations and company certifications.Qualifications:: Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance: 5 to 7 years of audit or related accounting experience: Knowledge of JD Edwards preferred: Must be willing to travel between 10% - 20% a year: Excellent verbal, written, and mathematical skills.: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ACL a plus.
