Job Description:
The Director of Media will be responsible for managing and implementing media plans, identifying target audience, analyzing media mix and negotiating with online media outlets. The position will also incorporate the management of the creative development process as well and testing and reporting. Successful candidates will have a strong working knowledge of all online advertising concepts, practices, and procedures. They will rely on excellent computer and Internet skills, extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to budget and objective. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able work in a team environment and use Classmates' tools to track site data, registrations and perform each essential duty of the job as well as accept special projects as assigned. Position Requirements and Success Metrics: · Manage day to day relationships with assigned accounts · Work with Classmates creative team to deliver and test new creative· Responsible for reporting creative performance to group, managing creative resources and maintaining creative bank· Identify new media and publisher opportunities and develop media plans that partner our company with complementary publishers.· Negotiate contracts with new and existing Publishers to gain the greatest number of registrants within a predetermined metric.· Represent Media group with numerous departments within Classmates including (but not limited to): Management, Accounting, Legal, Sales, IT/Developers and International.
