Job Description:
The primary role of the Strategic Account Manager is to act as the principle Systemedia (SMD) representative ensuring the highest level of customer service to NCR accounts. The SAM will be accountable for the relationship management of their assigned customer base and ensure that all customer requirements are identified and met. Additionally, SAMs will drive new business in new Systemedia accounts within an assigned geographic territory. In this role, the SAM is the key interface or liaison between the customer, SMD Manufacturing, Customer Services, SMD Pricing, SMD Marketing and other NCR sales support teams with regards to SMD issues for current customers. This position requires strong relationship management, sales support, and account maintenance/management skills in order to ensure a high level of customer delight and work to maximize SMD revenue and profitability within assigned accounts. The SAM reports to the Area Sales Director. The SAM will be assigned named accounts by the Area Sales Director and will have the responsibility to ensure that these key customer accounts continue to thrive in a partnership with NCR.
