Our Research and Development team has significant experience in metabolic diseases and is focused on investigating the biological actions and utilities of bioactive peptides and other compounds as potential drug candidates. Amylin has amassed significant research and clinical expertise in metabolic medicine, including the areas of diabetes and obesity, and were always looking for more talented and energetic professionals with not only the requisite knowledge & experience, but also the desire and passion to help us sustain our momentum and competitive edge. Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on professional to join our team. Specifically, you will: Develop and apply epidemiological methodology and data to issues of drug safety, risk management, and effectiveness Formulate and interpret analyses utilizing retrospective and prospective data Serve as an ongoing Global Safety representative in the review of all Amylin Integrated Summaries Provide ongoing support for addressing ad hoc IRB and regulatory authority inquires for Amylin products Assist with coordination, development, and monitoring of any registry or epidemiologic studies Conduct and analyze studies concerning population characteristics of diseases and the possible impact of agents for their prevention or treatment Assist project teams in the design of clinical trials Analyze data for new indications and new products and support the definition of a role for potential Amylin products.
