Job Description:
Under general direction from the Laboratory Director, with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, participates in the management of the technical/administrative, financial, quality and personnel management functions of the laboratory section. This lab performs assays to detect and monitor inborn errors of metabolism and conducts prenatal screening to detect fetal defects using immunoassays, HPLC and GCMS instrumentation, and computer algorithms. Lab collaborates with pediatric and reproductive genetics divisions at the Medical Center. Requirements Required Education/Experience: B.S. and 7 years relevant laboratory experience, including at least 5 years at a managerial level, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in GCMS instrumentation preferred.
