Tax Manager
Base Salary: $110,000-$150,000 (with full benefits)
Bonus Eligible: $8,000-$10,000
Location: San Francisco, CA
Highly respected CPA firm seeks experienced, professional Tax Managers. Our Clients are some of the largest privately held businesses nationwide, as well as leading nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to build solid relationships and partner with business owners and executive directors, to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liabilities.
• Work with sophisticated clients with interesting ongoing needs
• Plan and manage multiple engagements, varying in size and scope
• Participate in practice development initiatives for the firm
• Prepare, review & train others on state & local tax issues
• Strategize with clients on tax planning
• Interact with Partners and staff to ensure high level of client satisfaction
• Supervise preparation of complex corporate and multi-state returns
• Develop new and nurture existing relationships with clients
• Confer with clients (individual and corporate) on international compliance and planning issues
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
To be viewed as a technical resource and business partner you must possess a minimum of 5 years progressive federal tax compliance experience in public Accounting. Experience in Corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, Trust, Tax Exempt entities and/or Individual returns.
• Four or more years of broad based technical tax accounting experience (preferably in public accounting)
• Strong analytical and communication/interpersonal skills
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Masters in Tax (MST) JD, LLM
• CPA preferred
