Job Description:
Excellent communication, presentation and technical writing skills required. Requires BSCE, California PE registration and 20 years’ work history designing and managing various water, wastewater, water distribution, street, roadway, drainage, grading, flood damage prevention and planning experience. Must have experience managing a small office and leading multi-discipline teams, managing budgets and schedules. Posses strong interpersonal, presentation, written communication skills, and team orientation. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, working knowledge of MicroStation and InRoads or GEOPAK delivery tools helpful. Typical Duties: Successful candidate will be responsible for the production and technical quality for work associated with water, wastewater and flood control type engineering (large and small diameter pipelines, drainage, flood damage protection, dams, reservoirs, street and road design) projects. Project management duties include proposal preparation, contract negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, coordination with project team and preparation of correspondence. Serve as Client Manager for selected projects and clients, with the responsibility of day-to-day coordination and overall client satisfaction. Participate in applicable professional/business organizations.
