Ensures that the office has all the needed equipment and processes for daily claims handling * Monitors claim representatives' staffing needs, ensuring proper staffing levels are in place * Ensure "best practices" are followed and continually seeks for improved processes * Monitors and participates in quality control and reviews * Measures branch performance against established Metrics guidelines * Reviews all files for coverage and/or authority * Performance counseling * Responsible for filling in for the Claims Manger in his/her absence Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience is required * Minimum of 5 years automobile property & casualty claims experience is required * Prior auto claims management experience * Excellent verbal, written, and overall people management skills
