Responsible for short-term and long-term planning as well as P&L and operating budget preparation. * Assists sales manager in generating revenue and seeking additional business opportunities. * Ability to establish objectives and plans for the organization's operation. * Ability to control activities through subordinate managers or by direct supervision. * Ability to evaluate the performance of subordinates. * Ability to administer compensation. * Utilizes reports/data to analyze trends, implement resolution and project staffing for department. * Oversees the recruiting and hiring of staff members. * Manage all aspects of customer care to ensure customer satisfaction and customer growth. * Subject matter expert in multiple areas of the business * Leads in efforts to refine standards, methodologies and tools for the department. * Facilitates exchange of ideas and application of best practices, sustaining an environment where staff interacts in an open, honest and positive manner. * Actively participate in formal and informal mentoring and professional growth of direct reports and foster succession candidates. * Responsible for the continuing training and development of employees and also for insuring all opportunities are made available for career progression within the company. * Flexible hours and some on-call hours required.
