About the Job Our Senior Network Operations Engineers work on * Serve as primary escalation point for the Server Operations Center in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving network problems * Develop and document procedures for problem resolution * Create tools and scripts for monitoring the Akamai global network using tools such as SQL, PERL, Python * Perform advanced system administration for the Akamai deployed network * Serve as product coordinator on product development teams to represent Operations concerns. * Perform installations of Akamai's proprietary software across the many different networks * Provide training to Operations and Engineer * Server as liaison to Engineering groups Basic Qualifications.
