Education: Bachelor's degree in management or a technical field. MBA or a Masters in a technical field would be a plus. Principal Duties: Principle duties and responsibilities include the following: 1. Develop, draft and execute business capture strategy. 2. Develop, draft and execute business capture plans. 3. Establish in conjunction with top management business strategy for business development. 4. Maintain client and potential client partner relationships. 5. Provide support to proposal and capture managers as appropriate. 6. Develop, draft and execute management decision briefs. 7. Participate in all proposal preparation activities. 8. Other business development duties as requested by top management. Qualifications: Ten to fifteen years of strong business development experience, this experience must be marketing and business and not sales. In depth knowledge of IT and Government Contracting experience is required as is a demonstrated capability in qualifying and leading the capture of business opportunities.
