The position will report directly to the CFO and will have exposure to both GAAP reporting AND financial analysis / planning. The law firm is open to a candidate with Big 4 CPA firm experience (must have made it to at lease heavy senior or manager) or a candidate who has professional services experience would be ideal.Here is the job description: POSITION BRIEFResponsible for working with the accounting team to prepare month end consolidated financial statements, budgets and forecasts. This position will also work with the company's personnel and external auditors on the audited financial statements and will work with the company's personnel to ensure proper application of GAAP. This position will also work with the controller on the month end close and will perform other accounting duties as needed.
