Job Description:
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): · Create new or incremental sales opportunities for Ward Leonard products and services within designated markets and applications. · Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives. · Work with internal sales and support personnel, engineering, and technical support personnel to ensure that the customer's requirements are met in a professional and timely manner. · Work with Sales Management Team on matters of pricing, internal channel or market conflicts, customer competitive issues, current and future customer needs including major market developments. · Analyze existing accounts and target accounts to develop a comprehensive sales plan that will maximize growth and penetration. · Understand the customer's business plan and product requirements and effectively present Ward Leonard solutions that meet customer's current and future needs. · Execute the sales process from initial point of contact, presentation, proposals, through closing of the sale. · Provide a written log using Visual Manufacturing / CRM and memorandums of daily activities to capture and report customer visits, leads, opportunities and follow ups. Education/Experience: · BS Engineering (EE, ME, Systems) Degree preferred with 5-10 years experience. · Our ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with a proven OEM Sales track record, Automation/Customized Engineering Sales experience and customer interface skills, including exceptional communication and interpersonal ability. apply for this job Sr. Accounting Clerk (OPEN) - Thomaston, CT Ward Leonard Electric is looking for a talented and outgoing Sr. Accounting Clerk .
