Supports the negotiation and structuring of contracts and other commercial transactions with significant cash flow and EPS implications. Gathers information related to tax contingencies and prepares/reviews FIN 48 documentation. On a selected basis only (a few key material issues only), may be involved with IRS audit function for the company. Will have extensive visibility with and exposure to Assistant Vice President-Tax Planning.DUTIES:1. Advises Company management and other support departments on the optimal tax structuring of operational activities or a particular transaction in light of management goals and objectives. 2. Advises Tax management on the tax consequences of a transaction or operating structure and provides supporting calculations, analysis and data.
