Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Responsible for the execution of all nationally scheduled events in Zone. - Oversee the implementation and execution of all nationally driven marketing initiatives in Zone. - Build partnerships with Business and Educational Services team in order to drive sales. - Coordinate regular communication for Zone marketing and store organization on all nationally driven sales initiatives such as nationally scheduled store events and nationally driven sales opportunities like ESW, Book Drives, etc. - Execute Media Preview Days and Grand Openings for all new stores in the Zone. - Proactively works with the store teams, media, Business and Educational Services team, DMs, Sales Director and Zone VP in the zone on field marketing and corporate sales opportunities. - Ensure appropriate internal/external communications and correspondence regarding events. - Drive enthusiastic support from field partners for store events. - Ensure completion and submission of event reporting, including but not limited to, event proposals, co-op claims, event recaps, expense reports, etc. in a timely fashion. - Analyze and deliver zone field marketing budgets and expenses to goals. - Represent company at high-profile events and/or vendor meetings to outsize sales opportunities. - Responsible for building and strengthening relationships with key external partners such as publishers, labels, and Strategic Alliance Partners. - Manage the performance of the Zone Event Marketing Te
