Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Develop extensive marketing plans and budgets including direct mail, email, faxing, advertising, web sites and public relations. - Research industries and lists; procure lists for campaign. - Present marketing plans to executive management. - Develop, promote and manage special promotional projects. - Coordinate development of brochures, web and print advertisements, registration forms and other attendee promotional pieces (working with graphic design team, show team, partners and vendors). - Act as primary copywriter for all promotional pieces (including brochures, web site, emails, faxes and press releases). - Implement marketing plans through extensive vendor contact (mailhouse, broadcast fax/email companies, list brokers, industry publications, consultants, etc.). - Negotiate contracts with public relations firms and oversee public relations efforts, write/proof/route press releases, and act as primary liasion with public relations firm (and act as public relations contact where necessary). - Negotiate contracts and work with web site vendor to develop show web site, including copywriting, developing site map, and overseeing all department-specific pages (operations, conference management, sales, etc.). - Track all promotional efforts, including developing and maintaining weekly projection and cost tracking sheets for each event. - Analyze demographic data provided by registration vendor. - Conduct precise post-show ROI analysis of marketin
