Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Drive affiliate distribution through development of marketing materials, promotions and local events. - Work with promotions agency to create key local ad sales and marketing promotions for NHL, Tour de France and Versus Country. - Develop affiliate marketing tune-in initiatives for anchor programming to generate revenue for cable affiliates. - Create high speed online, video on demand and HD promotions. - Manage development of all cross-channel promotional spots, ensuring affiliates are represented correctly. - Responsible for event marketing, affiliate hospitality and trade shows. - Liaison between Marketing, Affiliate Sales and Programming. - Create and develop Affiliate Marketing materials. - Manage Affiliate marketing budget. Report to: Director, Consumer & Affiliate Marketing. Requirements: - A degree in Marketing or related is preferred. - 5+ years of affiliate sales marketing experience is required. - Creative and strategic thinker and planner. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to identify problems and provide solutions. - Highly motivated; able to work well under pressure; goal-oriented, self-motivated and proactive. - Strong work ethic. - Willingness to travel.
