Responsibilities: Directs all marketing activities for Berkshire Life through the management of a creative team and marketing managers; directing activities related to the development of product, marketing, sales collateral, competitive analysis, research, corporate communications and public relations. Department budget is currently in excess of $2 million. Critical to the success of this position will be the initiation and development of strategies to support corporate plans and meet sales goals and the ability to help lead an organization to a customer centric business model in combination with flawless tactical execution of the above objectives. Requirements: A Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience required. An MBA degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in product, direct and on-line marketing. 5+ years of experience people management. Experience managing the day to day operations of a creative team, developing process improvements, developing marketing strategies, motivating, mentoring and coaching others. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The incumbent should demonstrate creativity, excellent verbal and written skills, as well as superior organization and follow-through skills. To be successful, the incumbent demonstrates a high level of commitment to service, quality and cost efficiency.
