Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Responsible for assisting the Marketing staff in managing the overall business, under the direction of a Marketing Manager or Marketing Director. - Assists in the development and successful execution of all marketing and product development strategies to assure achievement of the sales and profit objectives. - Assists with all daily activities associated with managing the business such as analysis of retail sales, implications of consumer research, management of team P&L's, analysis of shipping forecasts, etc. - Assists in gathering and analyzing data required for the development of the Team's Long Term Business Plan. - Will be solely responsible for a project designed to assist the team in growing their business. Project will require conducting research, analyzing data, formulating recommendations, and presenting the recommendations to the team. - Works with marketing management to prepare and present marketing plans, as well as other internal and external presentations. - Assists in the direction of activities relating to public relations, advertising, packaging, etc. - Assists Marketing staff as necessary. Requirements: - An MBA degree program with a marketing concentration. - Related marketing experience preferred. - Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people of all levels and ability to function in a team environment. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Strong analytical skills.
