VPT's network includes four analog and four full power digital transmitters and two low power translators. Director of Engineering responsibilities include: overseeing the integration, distribution and maintenance of digital RF, master control, production edit suites and IT (including multi-platform distribution); financial management of departmental budget including grants; planning for all station technology activities and supervision of engineering staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of broadcast engineering experience; an understanding of RF, microwave and transmitter operations; knowledge of broadcast trends, IP networking and computer configuration.
