Job Description:
The position reports to the CFO, located in the regional office, and will be responsible for reporting local chapter financials to regional management. The accounting supervisor will also offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Position supervises one on-site accounting clerk. This is a 2-year consulting project, and the organization will make a commitment to employment for the 2-year period.eports and various other accounting statements and reports; provide interpretation of results as appropriate Prepare federal, state and other regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with established guidelines; keep informed of governmental regulations and procedures affecting the institution's finance and accounting procedures Analyze financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and/or expenditures as appropriate.
