Companies like BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Boeing, GE, UPS and Coca Cola rely on their sophisticated technologies (hardware, software and services) to locate, track, manage and optimize high value assets, cargo, equipment and people across their supply chains.

They are currently looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to work out of their Oakland, CA office.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support in coordinating and executing marketing programs, trade shows, associations, creative services, and other department coordination activities within assigned regions for the Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defense, Aviation and the Government sectors. You will also be responsible for working with the Marketing Communication teams to develop and implement creative marketing approaches that increase demand generation, qualified lead and contacts for the sales teams, customer adoption and success stories and new technology adoption that ensures they achieve their revenue objectives.

Responsibilities:

Trade Shows

* Coordinate 15-20 regional trade show exhibits
* Collaborate with marketing and sales to create a message, focus and recommend special collateral (if needed) for each exhibit.
* Organize and lead exhibit planning meetings and recommend booth, graphics, and product layout options.

Creative Services

* Maintain inventory of all product spec sheets and marketing collateral lists
* Managing the internal graphic designer, freelancers and outside vendors
* Helping to establish, manage, and maintain marketing communications projects schedules, approval systems, etc.

Associations

* Develop and maintain relationship with key associations to establish and maintain the connection
* Manage memberships, payment, ROI


Job Requirements:
Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
* Ideal candidate would have an understanding of the automotive industry, industrial manufacturing or supply chain marketing experience
* Good technical understanding and product oriented focus
* Three - Five (3 -5) years experience in marketing, preferably software or hardware
* Understanding and proficiency in marketing communications such as PR, advertising, analyst relations, websites, trade shows, user groups, collateral development, product launches and CRM.
