Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Defining the customer experience and driving implementation of that experience throughout the development cycle. - Defining technology and product roadmaps, detailed product specifications and competitive differentiation for both hardware and software. - Working with engineering, business development, sales and delivery teams to introduce and manage the product line from inception to end of life. - Developing competitive advantage through ongoing research and study of the market. Maintaining up to date competitive roadmaps and product trends. - Establishing marketing tools for successful product introductions through creation of clear messages, technical marketing and communication documents. - Assisting in the process to develop worldwide and region go to market plans and in PSG channel marketing efforts. - Providing required input to PSG marketing teams to ensure the full communication mix (promotions, PR, events, training, etc.) supports the business goals. - Serving as the evangelist for firm iPAQ products and services to field, customer, and industry constituencies. - Work with Business Development and Product Development to acquire and manage partners, mobile operators, and ODM's. Reports to: The firm Handheld Global Business Unit. Requirements: - An MBA degree desired. - 10 years of experience in marketing and product marketing roles with a significant portion in wireless mobility. - Experience capturing and documenting user sce
