Job Description:
Responsibilities: Collate, define and prioritize requirements for new products. Work with engineering to set priorities for new product features, fixes or enhancements based on commercial priorities. Create market requirement specifications for new and existing products. Create and maintain register items ensuring accuracy and timely updates with changing delivery time frames, request approvals and bid reviews. Create and maintain collateral for products that can be used by sales. Includes communication of dates, forecasts and main features needed for planning and preparation for the new product(s) by the following departments. Marketing Communications (product launch plans, create messaging etc). Customer Services (plan for support services and spares). Technical Training (prepare internal and external training). Logistics (forecast volumes, timing of start and end of life). Demos (obtain product and run demos). Systems Integration (dates for planning). Regional Business Development (create and communicate market segment based system and solution messaging and marketing). Support preparation of datasheets, sales guides, press articles and direct marketing materials. Provide technical product feature training that is excluded in detailed product operation and installation training to other departments. Provide product information for the Intranet. Create and issue product release, end of life and other notifications. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experien
