Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive marketing plans for all special publications approximately 6 months prior to their publication. - Develop an annual promotional calendar based on the marketing plans developed for each publication. - Formulate and ensure timely implementation of all marketing plans and support materials including development of promotional brochures, competitive information, marketing reviews, etc. - This includes initiating projects, following through with approval of completed projects and working with the creative services team to assure targeted mailings, e-mail marketing, advertising, reviews and catalog materials are prepared in a timely, efficient manner. - Identify and coordinate marketing needs with the product development team and production from contract proposal through publication. - Includes review of project proposals, preparation of pricing and sales estimates, participation in editorial conferences, production launches, marketing liaison with authors, cover design and packaging. - Organize and maintain the company Online Bookstore. - Develop web content and graphics to highlight all publications. - Monitor and update product related content and online promotions to continuously improve online response and ordering. - Work to improve the effectiveness of company sales presentations by providing marketing collateral to support the efforts of the sales representatives and the international sales coordinator. - Periodically ac
