Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Developing and driving the commercial strategy in specific market segments within chemicals and coatings to become a proactive solutions provider. - Identifying and implementing customer-driven opportunities, building business cases, grasping core technologies and developing marketing plans and approaches to prioritize and grow new and existing business segments that encompass Coatings, Paints, Adhesives and Inks/Graphics. - Develop and lead market segment teams to monitor and drive market activities, collect and analyze market information and trends and build business plans and strategies for optimizing value out of selected market segments. - Working with cross-functional teams; you will lead and facilitate business development growth projects, identify current capabilities gaps and develop action plans to address them. Requirements: - A Bachelor's in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field is required. An MBA degree is highly desired. - 8+ years of marketing/market development experience in the commercial chemicals industry; preferably in Coatings, Paints, Adhesives and Inks/Graphics. - 8+ years of end-user driven commercial development and strategic marketing experience, preferably in specialty chemicals. - Strong marketing skills coupled with a technical background, customer-facing experience and demonstrate an understanding of end-users and know how to create value in the market. - Excellent communication and leadership skills ar
