Job Description:
Responsibilities: Formal development of sector points of view. Management of sector How issue program. Oversight of development of sector thought leadership. Development and management of issues/topics editorial calendar. Develop and manage event calendar. Onsite management of all industry events. Plan and execute events including industry trade events, internal sector meetings, webcasts, podcasts, etc. Develop plan and manage content on the sector web properties (Website, Knowledge Gateway) ensuring content is fresh and relevant. Develop sector public relations plan for getting thought leadership and points of view out to the media. Develop advertising plan Liaison to sales and business development (R&SP) network. Responsible for regular communication with Client Drivers) to ensure thought leadership is getting distributed to the right accounts. Requirements: An undergraduate degree in marketing or like field (i.e., communications, public relations, advertising, etc.) preferred. Consideration would be given to persons with an undergraduate degree in liberal arts such as English, Writing, etc. 5 years of marketing experience. A deep understanding of how to translate concepts into compelling and thought-provoking topics is required. A deep knowledge of how to leverage marketing channels and new marketing technology is required.
