Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Work with management team to plan and create strategies, tactics, activities, and materials for the purpose of conveying the most positive marketing message to target markets. - Manage ad agency relations to design, write, produce, and distribute marketing communications materials. - Participate in special pricing, planning, promotions, designing demos, developing training courses, and other related projects. - Ensure that marketing materials position the organization and its products/services for high visibility with customers, partners, trade associations, outside vendors, and media audiences. - Interpret data and report market conditions and competition information to sales team. - Maintain materials catalogue and appropriate levels of marketing supplies. - Maintain company website content for current material. - May assist with planning customer seminars, user conferences, trade shows, or special promotions. - Oversee the primary activities of individual contributors to ensure completion of tasks and attainment of departmental goals. - Manage personnel activities of staff (i.e., hire, train, reward, motivate, discipline, terminate, performance reviews, and pay discussions). - Evaluate and assess new marketing projects based upon size, complexity, and time frame. - May be responsible for budgeting of department's personnel, capital, and/or operations expenses.
