Job Description:
Responsibilities: Ensure that all firm communications materials are targeted to the right people, with the right message, at the right time. Works closely with Senior Management and Executive Staff to advance the YMCA's mission through the provision of high quality marketing, advertising, and communications materials and creative on-line content. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and 3 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in the concepts, practices, and procedures related to the fields of marketing and graphic design, and the ability to utilize graphic design and web development techniques and software. Must have demonstrated graphic design, web design, public relations, and sales-oriented writing experience. Grant and/or contract preparation experience considered a plus. Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Ability to synthesize complex ideas into coherent, compelling communications materials. Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment. Highly-developed time management skills combined with the ability to plan, control and lead projects and meet deadlines.
