Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Work with research teams and marketing director to establish targeted prospects that would benefit from company services. - Contact and communicate with prospective clients to schedule meetings and capabilities presentations, develop client relationships, identify opportunities and client needs, etc. - Develop company, product and competitor briefings for client meetings. - Regularly maintain and update business development and client contact database with a record of communications, activities, achievements, etc. - Participate in business strategy development. - Assist with the creation of and implement marketing/PR plans for delegated projects. - Develop relationships with key media, pitch stories, develop creative ideas for media outreach and planning. - Research and recommend external platforms (such as conferences and events) to raise the visibility of company. - Manage directory listings for company. - Leverage professional association memberships to network with potential clients, gain trial usage of the Chicago SCF facility, secure speaking opportunities, directory and article placements in association publications. - Oversee newsletter development and distribution: develop design and layout, assist with writing and copy editing, manage on and off line distribution. - Update website postings of company in the News and Recent Research and Polls for select business lines. - Create online communications including alerts and newsletters.
