Responsibilities: - Proactively manipulate the database and other knowledge resource information to develop new marketing opportunities. - Maintain knowledge base of technological advances/ techniques and incorporate as appropriate into database. - Understand and develop new market solutions for general business. - Build and maintain a marketing segmentation of the customer universe based on an understanding of customer needs, preferences and profiles. - To manipulate product and customer data to offer sound business solutions as it pertains to marketing strategies. - Act as a liaison between marketing and other departments in the company (including sales, finance, and IT/systems). Requirements: - High school diploma/GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required; concentration of experience in information systems and/or database is a plus. - 2-3 years of experience in marketing and proven experience working with marketing data. - Experience with customer information databases and relational databases. - Ability to identify new business ideas and approaches for building value in a competitive environment. - Problem solving skills to achieve results by diagnosing problems early and developing solutions that enhance productivity. - Strong communication skills including ability to explain technical concepts in a non technical manner. - Intermediate to advanced PC skills (MS Office, Database Querying including SQL
