Responsibilities: - Identify key issues and interpret data to determine opportunities and/or barriers to conversion to a site visit (or repeat visit). - Develop competitive analyses and educate the broader team on strategic implications of competitive activity. - Develop annual traffic goals and identify strategies and tactics to achieve them. - Monitor performance against goals and adjust strategies and tactics as necessary. - Optimize online and offline communication about the company. - Provide expertise in search engine marketing and on going trends in the field, and use this knowledge to improve SEM efforts (PPC and SEO). - Provide strategic direction for all online advertising efforts (banners, classifieds, search, social, etc.). - Manage creative development from strategic direction through trafficking to sites. - Provide expertise in search engine optimization and advocate technical and content enhancements to improve rankings in natural search. - Work to develop content offerings on our Knowledge Center and inbound links to that content. - Develop nurturing programs to build lead channels and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities. - Work with Public Relations to ensure that site updates and news are well communicated to the press and that interest in the company is garnered through PR and other unpaid avenues. - Provide direction for other divisions within the company to drive additional traffic to our websites.
