Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Assist in the execution and coordination of the annual marketing plans, promotions, forecasts, budgets, and P&L's. - Demonstrate knowledge of retail environment and of trade issues. - Assist in managing the tactical activities of the advertising agency and other outside suppliers - Assist in conducting competitive market analyses to formulate recommendations for an annual brand plan, including advertising and promotional strategies. - Demonstrate potential for sound creative judgment in evaluating promotional creative and copy - Analyze and produce effective solutions to marketing problems - Analyze monthly/quarterly results in order to identify key issues, trends and opportunities. - Demonstrate knowledge of promotions and research. - Work with Brand Manager and Channel Managers to develop programs (special packaging, promotions, events, marketing communication materials etc.) for account-specific opportunities that contribute to business growth. - Coordinate new product launch kits and promotional materials for distribution to the sales force and trade. - Assist Brand Managers and Program Managers in the new product development process from concept to execution. - Work closely with brand and channel marketing, promotions, website, PR, sales, advertising agency and forecasting personnel to support marketing programs - Create specialized customer databases to assist our customer service and business-to-business divisions. - Other duties as as
