Job Description:
Responsibilities: Handling the national association market, overseeing sales managers, developing new accounts in the local association arena, maintain visibility and continuing to strenghthen the company brand in the market. Duties also include maintaining aggressive and professional conduct in approach to solicitations and account development, responsible for and implementation of a sales action plan for the development of their market segment, which includes but is not limited to, telephone and/or direct mail solicitation, personal calls, entertainment, sale trips and trade show participation. Requirements: 5 years of previous experience in a Director or Associate Director of Sales capacity of a large and high-volume convention hotel. Refined verbal and written communication skills. Current knowledgeable of associations and both corporate and national markets. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
