Job Description:
Individual duties include:
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning system design for heavy industrial applications;
- Prepare technical equipment specifications, evaluate bids and make recommendations;
- Review vendor drawings, perform shop inspections and witness testing;
- Participate in start-up and system balancing activities.
- Supervise and direct design and drafting efforts
- Make field trips to verify existing conditions.
- Prepare engineering and construction cost estimates.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years experience in heavy industrial, metals, chemical/petrochemical or environmental projects.
- Must be able to lead the mechanical engineering functions in this area,
- Some business travel is anticipated.
-B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related degree with mechanical/hvac experience) is required.
- PE license is a plus.
- Working knowledge and experience with ASHRAE codes and standards is required.
- Clean room/micro filtration experience is a plus.
