Job Description:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensures customer satisfaction
•Manages by objectives through the organization
•Manages succession planning for the organization
•Oversees implementation of new product, technology, and systems
•Reports as required updated metrics, financial performance, and project statuses
•Implements plans for continuous improvements in accuracy, reliability, and timeliness
•Ensures standard operating procedures for all projects are followed
•Establishes budgets for projects and capital equipment requests
•Oversees vendor selection and negotiations with Purchasing
•Ensures confidentiality of SCSI
•Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE
•Must possess strong leadership and written/oral communication skills
•Experience in logistics management (distribution, transportation, 3PL, systems, etc.) preferred
•6 Sigma training is preferred
•Strong PC/Systems knowledge/experience with database and reporting tools a plus
•Strong presentation skills a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•Must have a bachelor degree or five years’ experience
