Job Description:
This position also is responsible for reviewing the work performed by the unit. The incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of the State accounting process, be able to work independently and take appropriate action, communicate tactfully and work effectively under tight time schedules, prepare accurate and timely reports, possess strong written and oral communicating skills. The incumbent also analyzes and recommends unicate with control agencies, the public and other staff at all levels in a team environment. · Ability to research and reconcile, analyze adjustments and make sound decisions. · Ability to review and analyze information using accounting system and other PC tools. · Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative. · Ability to recognize and evaluate problems, and take effective and appropriate action.
