Job Description:
 A supplier of stock images for business and consumers seeks a Software Engineer with 5+ years of software development and 2 years of Operations experience. The candidate will develop feature designs. Participate in code development by actively writing code and conducting unit testing. Estimate and schedule own work for feature development. Work with development team and operations support to troubleshoot development environment, production environment, performance tune and optimize code. Investigate and support Open Source software solutions through customizations and enhancements for various environments. Develop and/or implement and support off the shelf enterprise tools. Create new and innovative solutions using .Net framework. B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience is required. Must be a developer with Operations experience. Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux and UNIX systems is needed. Must have knowledge and experience in the following: ASP.NET, C++/C#, HTML, SQL, Java, XML, Perl, Python, Relational database design and SQL coding. Experience with collaborative development using code management and bug tracking systems is needed. Must have LAMP technology stack experience, as well as Windows batch scripting experience. Some knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000/2005, as well as fundamental working knowledge of SMS 2003 and SQL 2000 is required. A working knowledge of core MOM Management Packs such as Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SPS, SMS, SQL and Windows is required.
