Job Description:
 A satellite television service provider seeks a Senior Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Internet working. The candidate will develop advanced broadband and video applications. The candidate will work with internal teams and external partners to understand application needs and develop solutions using current and emerging technologies. The preferred candidate should have a Bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering/computer science. CCIE certification preferred. Total years of experience should include 3 years of network design experience, Inter-network troubleshooting experience and 2 year of experience with Cisco products such as CRS, 7600, 6500 and IOS-XR software. Should have medium to large-scale network design skills. Requires knowledge in IP internetworking - MPLS VPN, IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS), Quality of Service (QoS), IP multicasting. Experience with LAN switching protocols and Security components such as MARS, Cisco PIX Firewalls, Cisco ACL and IOS based security functionality is essential. Familiarization with transport protocols and Technologies such as SRP/DPT, RPR (802.17), ADMs and DWDM systems is required.
