Job Description:
 A company offering a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets, including Energy, Pulp, Paper, and Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, and develops/markets industrial automation systems and advanced software applications seeks a Senior Project Manager with 7+ years of combined engineering project and project management experience. The candidate will be responsible for working with sales and marketing to ensure that project scopes, budgets and execution plans are in place prior to commencement. Directs and works with teams of technical professional in the execution of projects. Interfaces with the customer(s) in order to ensure that projects are executed within budget and schedule. Establishes professional relationships with customers to ensure that project requirements are fully defined and agreed upon. Manages all phases of projects from inception to closeout. Tracks and reports progress and financial data to management (cost and revenue). Works with peers to streamline work processes within the organization. Ensures that engineered solutions meet project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation. Directs implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to the project team (locally and remote). The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science. Experience should include 5 years of experience with the implementation of advanced solutions applications (advanced controls, operator training simulators, blending controls, production balance, asset management, etc.) along with 3 years of experience with all aspects of project controls (budget and schedule development, monitoring and control). Desired Experience with: Six Sigma quality methodology; working with remote engineering centers; Hydrocarbon processing industry; managing internal and external customers and suppliers. Process simulation experience.
