Job Description:
 An equity options trading firm seeks a Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in network fault investigation. The candidate will be responsible for tackling network related faults on a daily basis, progressing/troubleshooting faults, and ensuring that the companies customers receive excellent service. Provide technical support to the team on both network and security type issues. Review current and up and coming network implementations and provide technical information. Must be able to provide third line level support. Must also be able to progress tickets escalated from second line and provide customer updates. The candidate must have experience with the following: DSL, MPLS, VPN, IPSec, ISDN, QoS, ATM. Knowledge of TCP/IP suite of networking and services (TCP, UDP, ICMP, Telnet, FTP) is required. Candidate must be CCNP qualified. Must have knowledge and experience with the following network devices: Cisco routers. (800 series up to 10000 series routers) - Cisco switches - Cisco callmanagers - Juniper Netscreen firewalls - Checkpoint firewalls - Juniper routers - Redback switches - Foundry switches. Knowledge of the following routing protocols is also required: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP. Basic VoIP experience is desired.
