Job Description:

An equity options trading firm seeks a SQL Database Developer with 5+ years of SQL database development experience. The candidate will serve as database developer in the IT department. Use Microsoft or commercially available technologies to develop additional functionality, especially focused on reporting, analysis services or system integration and provide back up to the database administrator performing DBA and release management tasks when necessary. Will be required to meet reasonable requests for working off-hours and weekends to meet the critical needs of the business. A B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Financial Systems or related discipline is required. Experience with SQL 2005 is needed. Must be committed to the software development life cycle, creating written technical specifications and unit tests. Experience in SSIS and DTS is needed. Experience with SQL Reporting Services is also required. Experience with SQL Analysis Services is needed. Experience writing .Net applications using VB.Net or C#.Net is a preference. Experience working with other reporting tools such as Crystal Reports would be a plus.
