Job Description:

A company providing workforce solutions in the accounting and financial services industries seeks a Cost Accountant with 4+ years of experience. The candidate will manufacture industrial materials costing. Determine and implement cost accounting procedures and methods. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits. Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of cost quotes for all new and updated parts so that sales has material, labor and overhead cost data is allocated correctly. Prepare daily production sales reports and sales statistics. Assist with month-end closing. Help with budgeting and forecasting. Familiarity with concepts, practices and procedures in the area of cost accounting is required. Fundamental knowledge of the BPCS system and strong accounting background are needed.
