Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Managing and contributing extensively to SAP WM/Shipping/IM/MM projects and enhancements (and interfaces to other applications); (2) Gathering business requirements, analyzing needs against system functionality, designing and configuring system(s), writing technical specifications for FIREC objects (forms, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and conversions), testing, developing procedures and training materials, delivering end user training, and coordinating and supporting go-live(s); (3) Participating in the implementation of new transportation functionality in SAP, by gathering, defining and translating business requirements into functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development, testing and implementation of the solution; (4) Collaborating with business groups in identifying and executing outbound and inbound logistics automation projects; (5) Assuming a leadership role in standardization and automation of reporting solutions from all relevant plant operations systems to include obtaining a comprehensive understanding of all the complexities and integration of existing OLTP and OLAP environments, gathering business requirements, performing gap analyses, and synthesizing knowledge to design and deploy best practice-based solutions; (6) Assisting the business in identifying KPI-based metrics for logistics and designing and assisting in the deployment of dashboards for the metrics; (7) Identifying and recommending new tools and procedures that will lead to improved performance; (8) Managing vendor relationships for system support, upgrade features and assisting in application strategy; (9) Acting as a liaison to SAP basis administrators, technical services groups, and data center teams; (10) Acting as a first line of support for end user configuration and enhancement requests; (11) Where appropriate, acting as a project manager creating and updating project plans, project tasks, project milestones, using the Microsoft Project Server tool; (12) Managing project budget(s) and resources; (13) Driving daily project progress; (14) Assisting in aligning SAP people, SAP projects, SAP skills; (15) Resolving and escalating issues; (16) Ensuring accurate, timely and clear communication within and outside of the project team; (17) Managing change, and project methodologies; (18) Analyzing and correcting process and configuration problems as they occur in production systems; (19) Performing or leading unit testing and integration testing; (20) Working closely with the end user security authorization administrator during development and implementation of end user security objects; (21) Ensuring consistency of application relevant configuration across the system landscape and all business units; (22) Conducting presentations to client audiences and professional peers; (23) Communicating with colleagues, management, and business team members on requirements, problems, project status, and issues; (24) Developing appropriate procedures and processes; (25) Providing design recommendations based on long term IT organization strategy; (26) Designing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features.

****Will need to perform domestic and international travel as required.



Job Requirements:
4 years hands on experience as an SAP functional analyst in SAP’s Warehouse Management, Shipping and Inventory Management.

MUST have a minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations in WM, including release upgrades and new system or module configuration.

MUST have a minimum of 1 full lifecycle project in shipping.

MUST have a good working knowledge of SAP materials management module.

Pluses: Knowledge and experience in integrating SAP modules with SAP BW. Experience in any of the SAP R/3 modules (specifically Production Planning, Plant Maintenance) and SAP BW.
