Work with Branch Sales Manager to understand and ensure the transactional needs of the branch are being addressed. Mentor and coach the day-to-day customer activities of the tellers and customer service representatives.Interview, hire and manage the development of new tellers and CSRs.Communicate performance expectations and monitor performance plans. Demonstrates leadership characteristics on a daily basis, setting example for team members.Participate in appropriate community involvement and service club organizations.Technical Knowledge.Understand and manage scheduling needs and post branch schedule every two weeks in applicable areas.Utilize peak time transaction reporting to assist with flexible scheduling.Monitor teller cash differences as outlined in the Teller Difference Policy and post differences in Teller Differences Database.Monitor weekly time punches and address attendance issues.Ensure teller balancing is completed; report as required by policies. Monitor the general upkeep and appearance of the branch, working with the Branch Sales Manager and Property Management on maintenance issues.Oversee the handling of branch operational procedures and policies, including product, employee, and security areas. Ensure employees possess the knowledge and training on security utilizing the Retail Branch Report CardMaintain in-depth knowledge of all transactional processes and policies. Handle balance inquiries, customer questions, and problems, following through to resolution. Prepare customer and operations documentation (that is, research requisitions, checks).Open all retail deposit accounts when personal bankers are not available (DDA, savings, CD, etc)
