Join a world leader in the heavy trucking industry that is experiencing strong growth. We are looking for seasoned Quality Engineer with strong customer quality background. This person will be interacting with customers on a daily/weekly basis. Travel will be minimal around 10-15%. Our client is a leader in their respective business and has over 80% of the market share in the space. Their international businesses are experience double digit growth right now. They are one of a handful of players in this space. We do offer relocation benefits for this opportunity. This position will report directly into the Director of Quality. Job Requirements:
Qualifications Required:
- BS in Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience
- Ability to compile customer specific PPAPs and quality documentation
- Ability to develop and implement response to customer corrective action requests
- Experience with Customer contact
- Ability to analyze and respond to customer factory defects
- Familiarity with MS applications
- Database experience - Gage R&R, MSA, and FMEA experience
- Experience with TS, ISO, PPAP
- Knowledge of Six Sigma
