Job Description:
As necessary, either prepare or direct the preparation of drilling and completion cost estimates. Predict production performance for drilling prospects and evaluate drilling economics (both risked and non risked). Recommend disposition (drill, sell, farm out, etc) of existing prospects as necessary. F. Coordinate the initiation, evaluation and recommendation of stimulations, work overs, well abandonments and property divestments in order to improve productivity and/or reduce operating expenses for wells. G. Assist in the management of BHEP's non operated properties and ensure that the operator is managing the properties in the best interests of BHEP. Evaluate submittals from the operator for work overs, drilling wells, equipment purchases, etc. and recommend BHEP participation if appropriate. Ensure that Engineering Department monitors all non-operated drilling, completion and rework activities on a daily basis, providing input to the operator as necessary. Review non-operated invoices and approve prior to payment. Keep all necessary BHEP personnel informed and coordinate company efforts regarding non-operated projects. 5. KEY RELATIONSHIPS - Full authority with reporting. A. Stress open and frequent communications between BHEP and all other BHC companies. Inform BHEP management and BHC officers of all significant projects and activities. Make presentations on engineering activities at quarterly meetings with BHC Officers. Assist in ensuring that other corporate employees are kept informed of major events for BHEP via communication with individuals from other BHC companies and the submission of articles regularly to BHC's publication 'The Resource Connection'.
