Advertising Sales Director (Requisition # Not Listed) NACS is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop an advertising sales program for its monthly magazine and electronic media as well as trade-show related publications. NACS hosts one of the top annual trade shows in the country, and has solid marketing relationships with nearly every supplier in the industry. As the trade magazine serving this community's business and political interests, NACS Magazine has a healthy history of advertising with national clients, with a yearly revenue budget of more than $1.2 million, with plans to grow it. The sales director would maintain existing accounts and seek out new advertisers. This position would be the first of its kind working in-house, and this candidate will find outstanding growth and revenue potential from the start. The Advertising Sales Director will work with the NACS membership and trade show sales teams on individual sales calls. Frequent travel will be expected to client and agency headquarters and industry events around the country. Qualified candidates should have a track record of success in leading advertising sales growth, preferably in a business-to-business environment. Experience in the convenience, grocery or foodservice industries is a big plus. A bachelor's degree, outstanding organizational, interpersonal and verbal skills are required. The position is salaried with a generous commission structure.
